This is the original logo from the website. I've decided to experiment with different colours and placement, to see what would look best for the website. As the existing logo doesn't work well with website. There is too much grey, and it doesn't give the sense of a modern Asian restaurant.
This is the logo used on the menu that the restaurant use now. This logo looks better, the colours are brighter, and the consistent use of yellow makes the text easier to read. Also Red, Orange, Yellows represents Asian food best.
This was my first attempt to recreate the logo. I've moved the 'wine bar restaurant' text to the middle of the logo, as it looked a bit squashed previously, now its easier to read. Again I have used red/ orange as they seem to work best for the restaurant.
This was my second attempt. I've added the restaurants slogan to the bottom on this logo, I'm unsure if I will keep it there as its a bit small to read.I've used a gradient ranging from dark red to yellow, to keep with the theme of Asian food. For the background I have used black, I'm unsure whether this will work on the site however as black backgrounds may be too dark for the website theme.
