This idea was influenced by a HMV card a found lying around. So far this is my best idea as it clearly states I am a multimedia student and has a fairly proffesional look.

Here are a few more ideas. These have come from either pencil sketches or myself playing around with photoshop. The 1st design is influenced by the logo of rap group 'RUN DMC' The circular design works well as it looks the most proffesional, and says everything about me being a multimedia student.

I began this by writing my name then decided to duplicate it and paste it to make a collage of my logo. Finally I used an old photograph and using some photoshop filters i merged the photo and logo to create the third image. Its works fairly well as it shows an artist spray painting as well as showing my name.

This idea I tried to keep simple. I used a complex font, it looks like a modern gothic font and works pretty well. I created the pen sketch on photoshop and I will further this idea by changing colours and adding a bit more to the background

I made this image after I saw a similar drawing which was based on peoples faces rather than shoes. I decided to use nike shoes instead.
Also I made a couple of sketches of a coulpe of Man Utd footballers.

I decided to learn to paint in acrylics and made a coulpe of A1 sizes collages using paint and different types of scrap paper on cardboard. This work is similar to my college work but instead ive used paint rather than pencil/pen sketches.

Further to the previous idea I decided to try another shape, this time I used a trainer. I Like this shape better and the text works much better but the shoe doesnt relate to me being an artist so I dont think ill develop on this idea.

I liked this image and decided to carry it further by adding some colour to it, It looks much more vibrant now and eye catching. But its still a bit rought around the edges and looks a bit childish.

I came across this image of a tshirt using an outline of a gun with the word "peace" filling it. I though this image worked really well and decided to use it to create a logo idea.
For my logo I used the outline of a paint brush as it relates to me being an artist.

Car logo research

I began my research on logos by looking primarily at car logos, and how theyve developed. These 3 logos for alfa romeo and Ford began in black and white and with a lot of detail on them. But both are no much simpler and in text and layout, and also have been made 3d to give a more modern look.
